主讲人简介
Dr. Ho has a B.S, M.S. and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Stanford University. He is currently on the Faculty of the University of Massachusetts. Previously, he was at Washington State University and the Illinois Institute of Technology. Dr. Ho was also a visiting researcher a the United States Geologic Survey, the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, and the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Dr. Ho is a member of the Geo-Institute of the ASCE having served on numerous committees as member and chair. Currently, he serves on the Railroad Track Structure System Design Committee and the Railway Maintenance Committee of the TRB.

The lecture presents research on the influence of fouling content and moisture content on the behavior of ballast under freight loads.
