第506期同路人学术论坛:Advancements in Onboard Monitoring of Rail Infrastructure: LDV for Prescriptive Maintenance
  发表时间:2025-06-08    阅读次数:

主讲人:Dr. Alfredo Núñez Vicencio

邀请人:肖军华 教授

时间:2025613日(周五)下午15:00

地点:通达馆605会议室

主讲人简介:

Alfredo Núñez received a doctorate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Chile and was a postdoctoral researcher at the Delft Center for Systems and Control in the Netherlands. He has held visiting academic positions at institutions across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. He works in the fields of intelligent transportation systems, focusing on railway engineering, computational intelligence, structural health monitoring, and infrastructure asset management. He has participated in various projects funded by the Dutch Research Council and European Projects such as HD-MPC, HYCON2, NeTIRail-INFRA, and In2Track3. His current research, supported by ProRail and Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking under the IAM4RAIL project, encompasses real-time adhesion estimation, embankment stability monitoring, and track monitoring using LDV and ABA technologies. In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Núñez serves as a cluster leader and work package leader within IAM4RAIL, collaborating with key industry players to advance railway infrastructure design, monitoring, and analytics technologies. Currently, he serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems and Applied Soft Computing, and as an Editorial Board Member for Intelligent Transportation Infrastructure. Dr. Núñez has also guest-edited special issues for journals like Wear and Control Engineering Practice.

主讲内容简介:

In the context of the European Project IAM4RAIL, this presentation will introduce the latest developments using train-borne Laser Doppler Vibrometer technology. This innovation enables non-contact monitoring of dynamic load-response relationships of rail infrastructure under operational conditions. Fundamentals on the sensing technique and both lab and real-field applications in the Dutch railway network will be presented. Finally, we conclude with a discussion about future challenges and potential paths forward for this technology, including the application of AI for prescriptive data analysis of railway infrastructure.
